Introducing the hardworking team at Journey Care, dedicated to providing compassionate support to our clients.
Journey Care are currently pending approval of Ofsted and intend to become Ofsted regulated within the near future.
Staff training is at the utmost importance to us at Journey Care as we believe the Young Person should receive the best care possible during their time with us. Staff will be trained in methods of conflict resolution, emotional intelligence, de-escalation and negotiation to resolve any negative behaviours. Staff will also be kept up to date on first aid training.
At Journey Care, we believe in staff development, growth and encourage training to further their knowledge and career. Monthly supervisions are completed with each staff member to allow for open communication to voice their opinions, feelings and discuss further development / training. Additionally, the supervision meetings allow for Journey care to monitor the performance of staff, identify if they have any specific training needs and continuously improve our high-quality service. The staff member will also get a copy of this meeting for their own records.
Journey Care also hold planned staff meetings which enable our staff to share information, learn from past experiences / incidents and keep up to date on policies and procedures.
Journey Care has also partnered up with multiple staffing agencies, who can provide us with emergency staffing of any level in as little as two hours. This would make sure staffing levels meet the requirements of the support plan with DBS checked, fully qualified individuals during times of staff absence that we cannot cover ourselves due to unforeseen circumstances.
